A till that keeps working when the connection does not

The counter is the one screen in a shop that cannot wait. Horizon213's till opens with a declared float, takes sales in a few keystrokes, and queues them locally when the network drops — so the shop keeps selling. When the line comes back the queued sales are sent, and the guide for recovering them exists because we expect it to happen.

01

The day at the counter

Open, sell, close. Each step leaves a record the owner can check.

  • Open the till with a declared opening float
  • Take a sale in a few keystrokes, with the receipt printed
  • Stock comes off as the sale is taken, not at the end of the day
  • Close against a counted drawer, with the difference shown rather than hidden
02

When the network drops

A shop that cannot sell because the line is down is a shop losing money.

  • Sales are queued on the device when the connection fails
  • Selling continues without a warning box in the cashier's way
  • Queued sales are sent when the line returns
  • A dedicated screen shows what is still waiting, and recovers it
03

Behind the counter

The till is a door into the same ledger as everything else.

  • Counter takings land in the cash register with the rest of the money
  • Stock balances reflect counter sales immediately
  • Sales appear in the management reports with everything else
  • A cashier can be given the till and nothing else

Questions people ask

Do I need special hardware?

No. The till runs in a browser on the machine you already have. A receipt printer is useful but the document also prints as a PDF.

What happens to a sale taken while the internet was down?

It is held on the device and sent when the connection returns. Nothing is lost, and the recovery screen lists anything still waiting so you can see it rather than hope.

Can the cashier see the rest of the business?

Only if you let them. Access is per person and per company, and a counter role can be limited to the till.

A demo shows what the product does. A conversation is what tells you whether it fits how your business actually trades — how many companies, which modules, what you already have to bring in.
